I want to start by reminding voters that there will be a lot of candidates this election trying to run on the PFD point. While if you want to preserve the PFD someone who supports it is always a good choice, make sure you also explore that individual’s stances on other topics. Alaska’s future is entangled in many important issues, and the PFD is just one of those. Vote informed.
Information is what the page is aimed at providing. Below is a list of each current representative, their contact information, and a record of their actions in regards to the PFD. Much like my PFD information page, I will keep this list up-to-date. I hope to add challenging candidate information for those in red soon. I welcome corrections and recommendations. Creating this list was a lengthy task.
Legend:
-Green is good. This representative has a pro-PFD stance.
-Orange is cautionary. This representative has a mixed record.
-Red is bad. This representative is working against the PFD.
-Grey is unknown. These representatives are very new.
Hot tip: To quickly find the representative you’ll get to vote out or allow to stay, press CTRL+F to search by name, city, or district.

Dan Saddler should not be green. He voted to take half our 2017 PFD. He also has been on a video going around Facebook where he says the purpose of the PFD is to pay for government. Lately he has flip flopped with his PFD stance because of the upcoming election. For example, today he voted to return the half of the PFD that he voted to take last year.
Which bills are these? I may be missing some (I honestly probably am, I was digging through several years of action). I have him against HB115 and SB26 (when it was passed to the House) and he voted for am 102 to restore the PFD last year. I’m not defending him, I’m impartial here, but do need to know where to look for those nay votes so I can add them. 🙂

This is a link to the list of who voted to take the 2017 PFD. It was in last year’s operating budget.
Ah, I didn’t think of adding those who approved 2017’s operating budgets sans a fully funded PFD. While not a direct bill or amendment about the PFD it does seem relevant. I’ll get those updated, thanks for the catch.
Wow, I am surprised at who they let into office now-a-day’s. For those of you who are against giving the PFDs back to Alaskans, for whom it was made, then you should come to the Bush/Boonies and try to make it on the amount of money you expect Us Alaskans to live on. You cannot imagine how much it can help most of us out.
Along with, giving it back to the Alaskans, and their sibling/coming generations, so that they may be able to get by also.
That is what it was made for.
